Friends catching up over some sushi and soju. It was crowd with a few birthdays being celebrated so we seat at the bar, didn't have to wait. To start it was all you can drink, the selections of beverages and soju flavors(made there) were delicious. Adding to that was the sushi rolls, they didn't have a big choosing but the ones they had, had us reordering them. Definitely recommend for dates or just an outing.

Fun place to come late a night before a night out in the Castro district. We ordered the karaage, which was super crispy and juicy. The sweet sauce it came with was decadent as well, and complimented the chicken perfectly. Tried a few of the rolls as well, which were delicious and saucy. Would highly recommend as a pregame spot--grab a pitcher of beer! Service was attentive.

Wasabi Bistro is one of my favorite spots! I absolutely love their garlic edamame and California roll. I also sometimes get the spicy tofu cold dish with kimchi, which is fantastic. Everything here tastes great and is always so fresh. While the prices have gone up a bit, the quality and flavor make it worth it. Highly recommend this place for delicious, fresh-tasting dishes!

We came here for my friend birthday. When we first arrived, around late 5pm -6pm. We immediately got a sit and service. The server was really nice and explained to us about the all you can drink flavors. We had few rolls and drinks were pretty tasty. Just careful, don't drink too much because the Sakes will hit you later on. Overall it's pretty good place to celebrate or come by for a casual dinner. Drinks are reasonably priced!

The perfect late night order in!! Light and affordable, yet filling and tasty. I really appreciated the modest selection of vegetarian options which meant I could tack along an order to a group's easily. I inhaled the 'vege' dragon roll and a serving of green onion pancake, would recommend both.

Was surprised to find a sushi restaurant open until 1am! A fun spot to hang out with friends and have some drinks/food. The food was nothing super special but pretty solid for the prices and how late the place is open. Very quick and attentive service!

First time at this restaurant for my friend's brithday and we had such a great time. It's a very casual spot and it can get really packed. Within an hour of just opening the restaurant got really full and crowded. I'd recommend Ubering if you can since it's located at a very busy street. Came for the sushi but was excited to hear that they serve "botomless" soju. Was very surprised to see how quick the servers were to get our orders to the table. Overall, would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone craving sushi in the Castro.

Wasabi Bistro on Castro is a fun spot. The main attraction here is the $10 all you can drink - for 90 minutes you can get unlimited refills on your drinks! You can decide between hot sake, wines, cocktails, and beers, and you easily make back the $10 after 2 rounds depending on what you order - it's totally worth. In most restaurants, the drinks complement the food that you eat. However, I felt that at Wasabi Bistro, the sushi served as the complement to the all you can drink. The food is decent - it's good old-fashioned sushi. However the sushi serves its purpose of filling you up as you are drinking more with the all you can drink menu. Our service was fast and efficient. The staff was nice and made sure our needs were met. When it gets very busy, you may need to flag waiters down to get refills, but despite how busy the place was when I went we were well attended to. Overall this is a solid spot. I definitely recommend getting the all you can drink option though.
